The short version

Playing video games has always been something I've enjoyed, but since learning the basics of 3D modelling during my undergraduate course I have developed a passion for making games. Since then I have known that this is what I want to do for a profession, and for several years now, I have been improving my knowledge and skill set to keep up with the latest tools and techniques.

I have completed a master's degree in Video Game Development and also have  experience of working in the industry on AAA development. During this time I have been involved with the full production cycle of game development and gained familiarity of working in different size teams on a variety of games from mobile to console. I am now looking to move into a full-time position where I can become a key member of the team and deploy what I have learnt as a 3D Artist.

About Me

I am detail orientated and goal driven, and in my work I always try to show a high level of proficiency, but always willing and excited to learn more. I am proactive and have great interpersonal skills, a good follower also, but have the ability to lead and enjoy the opportunity.

In my personal projects I have developed a working knowledge of game engines through creating levels and mods for the games that I play. My latest project was to create an asset which I could use as an opportunity to develop my knowledge of using the Substance suite of software, and my larger on-going project is creating an extensive 3D environment in Unreal Engine 4.

Through both education and work environments I have been involved with the full production cycle of game development and gained familiarity of working in teams of various sizes on a variety of games from mobile to console. These experiences have also provided me with the knowledge to produce high quality and optimized assets that meet the requirements of platforms and briefs, and prepared me for a career in games development.
